Re: [linux-tr] ibm 16/4 pci supported by ibmtr in 2.2.x ?

Markus--

The ibmtr.c driver only supports Shared RAM (i.e. non-DMA) Token-Ring devices.
The IBM 16/4 PCI family of cards will be supported in an upcoming version of the
kernel. Until then, go to http://www.linuxtr.net/ and check out the Olympic
driver for the PCI Token-Ring family of adapters. It's a "alpha" level driver,
so it may explode on contact, but it also might work just fine. :)

Hope this helps,

I'm asking this because we're upgrading our webserver and only used
the isa 16/4 cards so far.

Thank you,
     Markus
