Ups.
I tested the script from adrian. Interface down, remove and reload
modules and restart network. Sure, this is not a suggestion, but
there is a interesting result. After restarting network, my default
route was gone. The default router is a checkpoint firewall-1 on
Windows NT and is connected directly to a TokenRing switch.

Result: The time, network slows down on the machine is much longer.

Is switched networking a problem to the driver?
